Beacon was retained by a prime firm, to assist on a study of Metro’s non-fare generating concession-related activities to analyze and identify market opportunities for increasing revenues. Beacon conducted original research conducting interviews with rail authorities in Boston, Chicago and DC to benchmark best practices of light rail stations and developed a financial forecasting model for predicting and planning concession related business for different rail stations along rail lines for LA Metro.
