Brandon Shamim is the President
and CEO of Beacon
Management Group. With over 18 years of experience,
he has led communications and influencer campaigns,
defined and implemented strategy on complex issues,
and helped to shape policy for public agencies,
corporations, higher education institutions,
businesses and national nonprofit organizations.
Previously he directed public affairs campaigns for
a Fortune 500 company, worked with a public policy
institute, and with a city government. |

As an impassioned, award-winning
public speaker, recognized leadership
development trainer, and moderator, he has
addressed audiences at national and regional
conferences, including the USC Marshall School
of Business, UCLA Brain Research Institute, IBM
Canada, Leadership Anaheim, Future Business
Leaders of America, the LA County Office of AIDS
Policy and Planning and various community
forums. As an instructor, he teaches strategic
planning and branding at UC Riverside’s
Institute for Global Business Management, and
leadership development at USC and Mount San
Antonio College. |

Serves as the Chair of the Small
Business Council and a member of the Executive
Committee for
the Greater Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce,
where has worked on issues with the Governor,
the California legislature and local elected to
promote transportation, land use, government
procurement, economic development, housing and
workforce issues diverse, small business
community in Southern California. Co-Chair,
Jobs and Business Growth Committee, L.A. Chamber
of Commerce
He formerly
served as the board chair for the Asian Pacific
American Dispute Resolution Center, the Advisory
Board for the San Gabriel Valley Small Business
Development Center, KCET-TV, Westside Economic
Collaborative, and Honorary Board for Habitat
for Humanity, Los Angeles. He is an alumnus of
Leadership Southern California. He also
currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Cal-Tech MIT
Enterprise Forum. |

leadership, he established NEXUS FORUMS, a civic
education organization which has convened forums
and town hall meetings on issues ranging from
media literacy, health care, immigration,
